Any music fan can sing along to CCR Classics with their eyes closed, but it's always nice to hear some new twists on some old songs and this LP delivers. For example, it's a father song combo on "Lodi", as John plays with his 2 sons, Shane and Tyler Fogerty. Bob Seger brings his sound to "Who'll stop the Rain", The Zac Brown Band adds Country flare on "Bad Moon Rising" and The Foo Fighters kick up the high energy on "Fortunate Son". To sum it up, a CD of full of All-Stars performing timeless songs with a Rock Legend and 2 new songs "Mystic Hwy and Train of Fools". It's nice to hear these old tunes get new life with a twist from some of today's big stars, give it a listen. -Frank

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and the only Irishman in Def Leppard. He is a true pro at his craft and today (Mon) I was sad to hear he revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer. Campbell said after coping with a "cough that wouldn't quit" he went in for a surgical biopsy on March 11 while in Las Vegas with the band satying at The Hard Rock and found out he has Hodgkin's lymphoma. He must undergo months of chemotherapy but feels "fortunate that my cancer sent me an alarm call."
