According to a new survey, 36% of Americans plan on sending SEXY PHOTOS to someone on Valentine's Day.  And that's in spite of the fact that 28% of people say they've regretted sending someone sexy photos after a breakup . . . and 10% have had an ex threaten to post their photos online.

Millions of Women are Expecting a Marriage Proposal on Valentine's Day . . . Should They Prepare to Be Disappointed?

According to a new survey by American Express, the average man will spend $272 on Valentine's Day.  Which sounds like a LOT.  Only there are MILLIONS of women who are going to be REALLY MAD anyway.

Because the survey ALSO found that about six million people are planning to either propose, or are EXPECTING to get a proposal on Valentine's Day.

It didn't give the split there, but we have to assume there are MILLIONS of women expecting a proposal . . . and we're guessing most of them will NOT be happy if it doesn't go down.

The survey also found the cost of the average engagement ring in 2013 is $2,410.
