"Breaking the Seal" When You're Drunk is a Myth:
Everyone knows you're not supposed to go to the bathroom too early in the night when you're drinking. Because BREAKING THE SEAL means you'll have to keep going to the bathroom over and over.
Only here's the thing. IT'S A MYTH.
Dr. Courtenay Moore is a urologist at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. And she says there's absolutely NO scientific evidence behind "breaking the seal."
Alcohol is REALLY GOOD at making you pee, because you're drinking a lot of liquid . . . AND because it makes your brain release a chemical called ADH, which redirects water from your body to your bladder.
So it's not that you've "broken the seal" and that's why you have to keep going to the bathroom . . . it's just that your bladder QUICKLY gets filled up as you drink.

A Drunk Guy Got Frostbite On His Junk . . . After Trying to Have Sex With a Snowman:
Last week, 64-year-old Kenneth Guillespie of Darwen, Lancashire, England was walking down the street drunk, when he spotted a snowman. And he carved himself a little hole in that snowman, so he could have sex with it.
By the time he was done, the five-foot snowman was basically destroyed . . . and Kenneth was screaming in agony. Because he'd gotten FROSTBITE ON HIS JUNK.
According to the hospital where he was treated, there's a chance that Kenneth's junk may have to be amputated, but so far, quote, "[he] is still in one piece."
He's not facing any criminal charges.
Four Ways You Might Be Sabotaging Your Own Career:
Check out this list from "Forbes" that lays out four of the most COMMON ways people sabotage their own success.
#1.) Making Spelling and Grammar Mistakes. Things like not capitalizing letters or writing "a lot" as one word can make you look dumb, or like you just don't care. Even if it's in a short email about something that isn't important.
#2.) Over-Promising. If you do this one a lot, you're probably too optimistic about how fast you can get stuff done. It doesn't necessarily mean you're flaky, which is also a bad trait to have.
It just means you forget to factor in that you might hit a few roadblocks. Obviously, over-promising ONCE probably won't hurt your career. But if it starts becoming a trend, it definitely will.
#3.) Criticizing People Behind Their Backs. It makes you seem overly negative. And the people you're talking to automatically assume you also talk behind THEIR backs. Especially if you do it around your boss.
#4.) Not Owning Up to Your Mistakes. A lot of people only KIND OF admit when they're wrong. They start off by apologizing, but then try to pass off half of the blame to someone else, or they come up with an excuse to explain it away.
In the end, if you're the one who MOSTLY messed up, you're better off just owning all of it.
